In my years working on IDTV Action Fest, I have met some incredible people. I’ve made some wonderful friends and exciting contacts during my time as Program Director. This festival is more than that, though, it’s about shredding light and honoring the true heroes behind action films, the stunt actors. It’s always been my goal as PD to include panels that truly highlight these talented artists. For our 4th festival in 2020, we had to shift our game plan quite a bit, but it also allowed us the opportunity to speak to those we might not had access to before.

The Entertainment Section was a proud sponsor of the Mind’s Eye Tribe panel, Unleashing the Action Actor, with this incredible academy. ​The panel was a candid conversation about the importance of Action Acting for Film, TV and Video games using performance mo-cap,  as well as other skill sets.  We discussed the art of blending character development, acting, and the action of motion-capture. Our panelists were instructors from Mind's Eye Tribe: Actor & owner TJ Storm (Godzilla/The Predater/Iron Man), Swords Master Terence Rotolo, Tactical Instructor Brandin Elmore, acting instructor Anne Dremann and moderator Performance Conditioning Coach Andi Norris.
